Trump Administration Imposes Tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China

The Trump administration has announced new tariffs on imports from Mexico, Canada, and China, set to take effect on Tuesday. The U.S. will impose a 25% tariff on most Mexican and Canadian imports, with an additional 10% tariff on Canadian energy products. China will also face an extra 10% tariff on its exports to the U.S. The move is expected to increase prices on a range of consumer goods, including cars, electronics, and groceries. Philadelphia Medical Jet Crash Kills Seven, Investigators Recover Flight Data

Investigators recovered a Learjet 55 medical transport aircraft’s engines and cockpit voice recorder from the crash site in Philadelphia on Friday. The aircraft, operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, crashed shortly after takeoff, killing seven people, including a child and her mother. The NTSB classified the incident as an accident, but the cause remains unknown. The plane was en route to Tijuana with a stop in Springfield. No distress calls were found from the flight crew. At least one person on the ground was killed, and 22 others were injured, five of whom are hospitalized.

Army Identifies Third Victim in Black Hawk Helicopter Collision

The U.S. Army has identified Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach, 28, of Durham, N.C., as the third crew member who died in last week’s collision between a Black Hawk helicopter and a commercial jet over Washington. Capt. Lobach, a University of North Carolina R.O.T.C. graduate, joined the Army in 2019 and served as a platoon leader and company executive officer. She had logged over 450 flight hours and was certified as a pilot in command. She was undergoing an annual evaluation flight at the time of the crash, with Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, and Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, who were also killed. Investigators are still determining the cause of the crash.

Initially, deep research will be available only to $200/month Pro users, with a potential expansion to $20/month Plus users in the coming month. The tool is compute-intensive, requiring 5 to 30 minutes per request.
